Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to paid subscriptions and other paid services offered by Veturu Pty Ltd ABN 48 691 855 482, trading as Ephemr.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel a subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation stops future renewals. You will continue to have access to paid features until the end of the current billing period, after which the account returns to the free tier (or is closed if you request).
2. Refunds — general position
All charges are in United States dollars (USD) and are non-refundable except where a refund is required by law, including under the Australian Consumer Law ("ACL"). We do not pro-rate or refund partial billing periods on cancellation.
3. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy under the ACL that cannot lawfully be excluded. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the ACL. If our services fail to meet a consumer guarantee — for example, they are not supplied with due care and skill or are not reasonably fit for a disclosed purpose — you may be entitled to a refund, to have the service supplied again, or to other remedies as provided by the ACL.
Where a failure is not major, we may choose between supplying the service again or refunding the price. Where a failure is major, you may choose.
4. How to request a refund
Email support@ephemr.io from the address on your account within a reasonable time of the issue, describing the problem and the charge(s) involved. We will respond within a reasonable period. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe; timing depends on your card issuer or bank.
5. Chargebacks
Please contact us first so we can resolve billing issues. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us in good faith may result in suspension or termination of your account.
6. Taxes and fees
Where GST or other taxes were added to a refundable charge, the tax component will be refunded proportionally. Currency-conversion or foreign-transaction fees charged by your bank or card issuer are not refundable by us.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when.
